This report outlines RIP.ie’s content moderation and transparency practices in accordance with Article 15 of the Digital Services Act. As a micro-organisation, RIP.ie is exempt from certain obligations but remains committed to ensuring respectful and lawful use of its platform.

RIP.ie enables users to publish death notices and condolences. We apply moderation to ensure respectful use of the platform and to comply with applicable laws.

5. Use of Automated Tools

We use an automated moderation system to flag certain words in our condolences section that may be offensive. All moderation of these comments are carried out manually by RIP.ie staff.

 

6. Complaints & Appeals

RIP.ie does not currently operate an internal complaint-handling system, as we are a micro-organisation and exempt under Article 20 of the Digital Services Act.
