Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of the Mater Private Hospital, Dublin. Beloved husband of Fionnuala, son of the late Marcella and Paddy, dad to Orla, Sheena, Sorcha, John (deceased), Niamh, Patrick and Cillian, granda to Darren, Kyle, Eve, twins Katie and Anna, Andréa, Antoine, Tiernan, Dylan, Sophie and Emilie and twin brother to the late Jim, who has passed away one day later. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, daughters, sons, sons-in-law Jim, Peter and Xavier, Patrick’s partner Kim, grandchildren, brother Donal, mother-in-law Hilda Nordon, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Due to current restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Paddy and Jim's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of their family only.
There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and to remember Paddy and Jim by being present on the route, socially distanced, on Saturday, May 8th as the funeral cortege leaves Paddy's home at 10.30am, proceeding on foot to the Church of the Holy Redeemer, arriving for Mass at 11am. Afterwards, the cortege will proceed to St. Patrick’s Cemetery for burial, driving, via Jim's home in Pearse Park, continuing to Park Street and proceeding via Market Square and Town Centre.
