Peacefully, at home, in her 96th year, in the tender care of her family. Beloved wife of the late Tom, daughter of the late Matthew and Minnie (Piedmont), dear mother of Joan, Tom, Kathleen and the late Maureen and also a mother to Gráinne and Siobhán. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing daughters, son, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Bridie, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Due to limited numbers permitted at funeral ceremonies under current restrictions, Lizzie's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family and close friends only.

There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and to remember Lizzie by being present on the route, socially distanced, on Sunday, May 16th, as the funeral cortege leaves her home, proceeding to St. Mary’s Church, Lordship for Mass at 2pm and afterwards for burial in Lordship Cemetery.
To keep everyone safe, please adhere to social distancing, wear a face covering and refrain from handshaking and hugging.
