The death has occurred of Agnes Duffy (nee Dooley) Cortard, Latton, Castleblayney and formerly Kidnaminsha, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan, Saturday, May 15th, peacefully at her residence. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Minnie and her brother Peter.

 

Agnes is deeply mourned by her loving family, her devoted husband Francis, daughters and sons Delores, Michéal, Mhairi and Thomas, sons in-law John and Ruairí, daughters in-law Majella and Nicola, sisters Mary Rennick Loughderry, Annette Cassidy Skryne, Brothers Brian Dundeery, Jim  Harolds Cross and Thomas Kidnaminsha and her late brother Peter’s wife Geraldine, her cherished  grandchildren,  Thomas, Eamon, Eoin, Aimee, Eddie, Mark, James, Ryan, Lilly-Rose, Grace, Tyler and Conor, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

 

May Agnes’s Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace

 

Agnes will repose amongst her family and friends at her home in Cortard. Funeral  cortège will travel from her home on Tuesday morning at 11.15am to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Bawn, for funeral Mass at 12 noon (via Corlatt School and Lacken Bridge) followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on the link: https://www.churchservices.tv/bawn

 

Due to the current restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Agnes’s  funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family. Those who would have liked to attend but due to current restrictions cannot, please leave a personal message for the family in the condolence section below.
