On 22 April, 2024, Agnes died peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at University Hospital Galway. Predeceased by her sisters Nuala Cunnane and Teresa Sweeney.

Agnes will be dearly missed by her loving daughter Barbara, sons Danny and Seamus, brothers Jarlath and Frank, sisters Marita Behan and Claire Casey, her many nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at St. Anthony’s Room within the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra, Galway from 10:30 am to 11:45 am on Friday, 26 April, 2024. Requiem Mass will follow at 12 noon, after which she will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Neurofibromatosis Association of Ireland or Domestic Violence Response Galway.
