The death has occurred of Alan Woods, Tankardsrock, Kilkerley, Dundalk, Co. Louth and Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, suddenly, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Co. Louth, Saturday 5th December 2020. Predeceased by his mother Angela. Much loved and sadly missed with love by his father Leonard, sister Jean, brother Seamus, Declan, David and Shane, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends in both Carrickmacross & Kilkerley.

In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and in respect of Government Guidelines for Level 3, Alan’s funeral and burial will be celebrated privately by his family. Alan’s funeral cortège will travel from his residence on Thursday morning to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilkerley, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Carrickmacross (approx. 12.45pm).
