Ann Conway-Thompson (née Conway) of Carrigaline on 13th July 2024, Mercy University Hospital. We lost our wonderful wife and mother Ann Conway–Thompson on Saturday, five months to the day into her 80th year.

We would have loved to have celebrated her 80th birthday, or even one more day with her, but she had come to the end of a long battle with lung disease and we are glad she is not suffering any more.

May we have a fraction of her strength, character and sparkle. The world is a duller place without her.

 

Ann had characteristically firm wishes about how she wanted to be laid to rest, in a private service limited to her husband Ivan, son Paul and daughter Kate.

 

We respectfully ask that wider family and friends honour her wishes and mention her in their prayers.
