On July 21, 2024, peacefully surrounded by her loving family, in the exceptional care of staff at Bantry General Hospital. ANNA (retired nurse/midwife) (formerly of Garryhill, Bagenalstown) beloved wife and best friend of John, loving mother of James, Sean, Liam, Eileen Finn (Midelton), Joanna McCarthy (Glengarriff) and Michael, dear sister of Tom and Hughie, predeceased by her granddaughter Anna-Louise McCarthy, her brothers Jim, Mick, P.J., Martin, Billy and her sister Lilly. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law Margaret, Lisa, Noreen and Karen, sons-in-law Padraig and Eugene, grandchildren Shona, Sarah, Nora, Sean, Tadhg, Orla, Shane, Eoin, Paidí, Kevin, Clodagh, Liam, Sineád, Mikey, Mark, Gráinne, Niamh, Ailish, Sheelagh, Micheál, Muireann, Aoife, Ciara, Béibhinn and Neasa, great-grandchild Eoghan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Tuesday July 23rd from 5pm to 7pm with vigil prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry on Wednesday July 24th at 12noon (to view live stream click here) followed by a private burial in Kilfachtnabeg Cemetery, Glandore. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the Bantry Hospice Project, Newtown, Bantry.
