Anne Farrell
(née Kelly)

The death has occurred of Anne Farrell of Roslahan, Manulla, Castlebar and formerly of Spencer Street, Castlebar and Colindale, London. She died unexpectedly in the excellent care of the Intensive Care Unit Staff, at Mayo General Hospital, Castlebar. 

She was dearly beloved wife of Jim (formerly of Bunclody, Co. Wexford),  loving mother of John (Cork), Marie Moore (Rugby, England),  Bridget Morris (Warwickshire, England), Christine Lines (Belcarra, Castlebar), Gemma Farrell Scahill (Manulla, Castlebar).  She will be greatly missed by her husband, son, daughters, her brothers Tom Kelly (Manulla Castlebar), P.J.Kelly (Garryduff Park, Castlebar), John Kelly (Straide, Foxord), her sister Alicia Kelly (Spencer St., Castlebar), her sons-in-law, Andy Moore, Daniel Morris,  Kieron Lines,  Gerry Scahill and John's partner Ann,  her grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends.  Anne was aged 71 years and worked all her life as a general nurse in both the United Kingdom and Ireland.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Reposing at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, on Wednesday evening from 5.30pm with removal at 7.30pm to the Church of the Holy Rosary arriving at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11.30am, followed by burial in Balla Cemetery. House private, please. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to ICU Mayo General Hospital c/o Kilcoyne Funeral Directors.
