Anne Geary

The death has occurred of Anne Geary of London, UK, Galway City & Letterdeskard, Carna, Connemara.

Anne passed suddenly, but peacefully, on Tuesday morning, January 16th, surrounded by her loving family, at her home in Carna, after a short illness borne with great dignity and strength. Predeceased by her loving parents Coleman & Barbara Geary. Proud adoring mother of Jason, beloved sister of Maura, Eileen, Barbara, Mairead, Gerry, Michael & Roisin. Sadly missed by her extended loving family, nephews, nieces, in-laws, relatives and friends in Connemara, Galway and London.

Reposing at her family home in Letterdeskard, Carna (H91 V9PH) on Thursday, January 18th, from 5-8pm followed by rosary at 8pm. Removal from her home on Friday morning at 10.30am, proceeding the short distance on foot, to St Mary's Church, Carna, (weather permitting) for funeral Mass at 11am. Private cremation service to follow. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu to the living angels of The Galway Hospice Foundation.
