In the loving care of her family and the wonderful staff at Roscommon Hospice. Predeceased by her parents Luke & Ellen Duffy and her brothers Eamon, Dinny, Mick & Leo. Beloved wife of Ado and much loved mother of Sheena and Francis. Gertie will be sadly missed by her husband, daughter and son, son-in-law Eugene, daughter-in-law Breege, brother Luke, sisters Una (Gertie's twin), Bridie, Ita, Phil and Helen, grandchildren Orlaith, Sadhbh, Ailbhe, Melissa and Adrienne, great grandchildren Senan, Barra and Rory, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the home of her son, Francis, 12 Lisroyne Oaks, Strokestown (F42FY09), on Tuesday, August 27th, from 5pm until 8pm. Removal on Wednesday, August 28th, to the Church of the Imaculate Conception, Strokestown, for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Strokestown Cemetery.
