Anthony Cooney
COONEY, Anthony (Tony), Cologne, Germany and formerly of Friars Road, Turners Cross Cork.
Anthony passed away peacefully at Vincenz Palotti Hospital, Bergisch Gladbach, Germany in the presence of his wife Monika and his nephews Diarmaid and Patrick on October 17th 2023. Loving husband and best friend to Monika for more than 55 years. Dear brother of Teresa and the late Thomas, Molly, Padraig and Ann. Loving uncle, grand uncle, great grand uncle and friend to many.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday November 15th at 11 am at the Church of The Most Precious Blood, Clogheen. Funeral afterwards to St. James’ Cemetery, Chetwynd.
