The death has occurred of Bernadette Smith, née O’Shea, Knockroe, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Cloneash, Moore, Athlone, Co. Roscommon - 17th April 2022, (peacefully) surrounded by her family in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Aras Mathair Phoil, Castlerea. Predeceased by her husband Thomas (Tom). Bernadette will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Angela, sons Adrian, Kevin, and Raymond, daughter-in-law Noreen, grandchildren Tom, Katherine, and Rory, brother-in-law Austin, sister-in-law Margaret, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, The Square, Castlerea (eircode F45 HH24) from 5.30pm until 7.30pm on Tuesday evening. Removal from Gaynor's Funeral Home at 10.30am on Wednesday morning to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial afterward in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
