Bernadette Wyer
(née Heffernan)
WYER, Bernadette (nee Heffernan), Bohillane, Ladysbridge (and formerly of Gainford, Co. Durham), December 3rd, 2024 (peacefully). Darling wife of Declan, loving and adored mother of Cathy, Jenny, Tara, Ronan and Jane.
Deeply missed by her devoted husband, son, daughters, brother Patrick, sisters Liz and Marian, grandchildren Joseph, Indie, Cecily, Patrick, William, Edward and Charlotte, Cathy’s partner Kevin, sons-in-law Jim, Cliff and Jeff, brothers-in-law Roddy and Jack, sister-in-law Carole, godson Simon, nephews, nieces, and wider family and friends.
The family wishes to express its heartfelt gratitude to all the staff and volunteers at Marymount University Hospice and Cork University Hospital for the kindness and care shown to Bernadette.
Bernadette will be reposing in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton on Thursday 5th December from 4.30pm to 6pm.
Reception into St. Mary's Church, Ladysbridge on Friday 6th December for 2.30pm funeral Mass followed by burial in St. Joseph's cemetery, Ladysbridge.
