Bertie passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving wife and family in the Mercy University Hospital, Cork on Monday, November 20th, 2023. Beloved husband of Peg (née Murphy), much loved father of Liam, Bertie and Marguerite (McSweeney) and cherished grandfather of Abbie. Dear brother of Marjorie (McAuliffe) and the late Dan. Deeply regretted by his loving wife, family, son-in-law John, Bertie's partner Lisa and Lisa's son Dylan, Liam's partner Samantha, brother-in-law of the late Michael, niece Breda Brennan, nephews Richard and Billy McAuliffe, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Bertie Rest in Peace

Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bank Place, Buttevant on Thursday evening (November 23rd) from 5:30pm with Prayers at 7:30pm, followed by Reception into St. Mary's Church, Lisgriffin.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 2pm, after which Bertie will be laid to rest in Kilbrin Cemetery.
