Betty Grimes
(née Leddy)

Betty Grimes, nee Leddy, Cornaughy, Carrigallen and formerly Drumbrade, Lacken, peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness bravely borne. She will be forever missed by her adoring family husband James, son Gerry, daughters Helena (McGovern), Martina (Maxwell), Fiona (Geoghegan) and Anne Louise (Kelly), sons in law Jimmy, Felim, John and Damien, sisters Nan (Lynch) and Eileen (Loftus), brothers in law, sisters In law, grandchildren Andrew,  Elisha, Conor, Darren, Aideen, Liam and Tess, great-grandchildren Senan, Peadar and Dessie, nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and many friends.

Reposing at her residence today, Thursday, from 5pm until 8pm and on Friday from 5pm until 8pm. House private at all other times, except for family, neighbours and close friends. Removal from her residence on Saturday to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Carrigallen, at 2pm for funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to St. Christopher's Services Longford c/o Mc Guckian Funeral Directors or any family member.
