McAuliffe (Glanworth) peacefully on July 9th 2023, in his 77th year, surrounded by his loving family & in the loving tender care of the staff at Marymount Hospice, Cork. Bill, Main Street, Glanworth, former proprietor of Mac’s Bar Glanworth, a prominent Road Bowling and GAA player. Dear husband of the late Agnes (née Loftus), son of the late Mick McAuliffe & Nora (née Blake) and brother-in-law of the late Geoff Tait.
Sadly missed by his children Shirley, Bill and Michael, son-in-law Davy, daughter-in-law Siobhán and Michael’s partner Iveta, grandchildren Ava, Sarah, McKayla, Liam, Seán, Oisín & Nate, sister Mary, brother Tom, dear friend and cousin Mary Dennehy, sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, nieces & nephews, relatives, neighbours & a wide circle of friends.
May He Rest In Peace.
Reposing at his home Main Street Glanworth P51 YNP2 on Wednesday, July 12th, from 5pm followed by removal at 8pm to the Church of the Holy Cross, Glanworth. Requiem Mass at 12noon on Thursday, July 13th. Burial afterwards in St. Dominic’s New Cemetery, Glanworth. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Marymount Hospice.
