The death has occurred of Bishop Senan Louis O’Donneill, OSA St. John’s Priory, Thomas Street, Dublin 8.

O’DONNELL, OSA, Bishop Senan Louis, St. John’s Priory, Thomas Street, Dublin 8, following a short illness in St. Michael’s Hospital, Dun Laoghaire, on 12th April 2023. Bishop Senan Louis will be sadly missed by his sister Anne (Smyth), his brother-in-law Pat, his sister-in-law Catherine (O’Donnell), nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, extended family, his Augustinian confreres, the priests and people of the Diocese of Maiduguri, Nigeria and all who knew him.

Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Dublin 8, D08 ETC0 on Sunday, 16th April, from 2pm to 5pm with removal afterwards to John’s Lane Church, Thomas Street to arrive at 5:30pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, 17th April, in John’s Lane Church, Thomas Street, Dublin 8 at 11am. Burial afterwards in the Augustinian Plot in Glasnevin Cemetery.
