Bob Leahy

Bob (William) Leahy, Curraghlehanagh, Newbridge, Co. Galway.  Peacefully under the wonderful care of Galway Hospice, after a short illness bravely borne, on December 24th 2021. 

Pre-deceased by his parents John and Julia, his sister, Sr. Bridie, brother-in-law Paddy, sister-in-law Maureen and niece Pat. 

Sadly missed by his brothers John and Frank (Boston), Martin (Ballinasloe) and Mike (Curraghlehanagh), sisters Toni Gordon (Kilkerrin) and Chris Olson (Oklahoma), sisters-in-law Margaret, Helen and Kathleen, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends. 

Reposing at Kilkerrin Community Centre (H53 K7F9) on Monday evening, December 27th 2021, from 6pm with removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Kilkerrin, at 8pm.  All those attending are asked to please respect social distancing guidelines by wearing a mask and avoid hand shaking. 

Bobs funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Josephs Church, Kilkerrin on Tuesday, December 28th, at 12 noon with burial afterwards to the local cemetery.  Mass will be broadcast on local radio 106.6FM and streamed live on https://www.facebook.com/Coneran_Funeral_Directors_101882841644404

In line with Government guidelines house is private, family flowers only please and donations if desired to Galway Hospice.
