The death has occurred of
Br. Gabriel (George) Whyte
Br. Gabriel (George) Whyte, De La Salle Brothers, Castletown, Portlaoise, Co. Laois and late of Castletown Road, Dundalk, Co. Louth, January 21st. 2024, peacefully in the loving care of the Community and staff of Miguel House.
Predeceased by his parents John and Alice, sisters Kitty (Cumiskey), Maeve and Bredge, brother in law Harry, sister in law Brighid (McLoone). Sadly missed by his brother Paddy, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnephews, many relations and friends, his confreres and the staff in Miguel House Care Home.
Reposing in Miguel House Castletown (R32 NX40) this Tuesday (Jan. 23rd) from 11.00am with Evening Prayer and Rosary at 7.00pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (Jan. 24th) at 2.15pm. Burial immediately afterwards in the Monastery Cemetery, Castletown.
