The death has occurred of Breda Christine Melly (née Sugrue), of New Jersey, USA and formerly of Kenneigh, Waterville, Co. Kerry, on Saturday 7th September 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael Melly, Breda is survived by her loving children Michael Melly and his wife Wendy, Jason Melly, Sharon Cannestro and her husband Nicholas, and by her cherished grandchildren Lauren, Jessica, William, Jack and Daniel, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Breda will be sadly missed and dearly remembered by her sons, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, by her brother Patrick Sugrue, sisters Caitie McCarthy and Eileen Houston, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary, brothers Jimmy, Bob and Sean, and sister Maureen Callan Sugrue.

Visitation 5-9pm Wednesday, 11th September, Riotto Funeral Home, Jersey City, New Jersey.

Funeral Mass 10:30 am Thursday, 12th September, St Joseph’s RC Church, Jersey City, New Jersey.
