Breda Houlihan, Lyre, Lismore, on June 28th, 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender loving care of the staff at Conna Nursing Home, Breda (nee Broderick), beloved wife of the late Billy (William) and much loved mother of Mary Murphy, Michael, Noreen O’Donnell, Matt and Liam. Loving granny of Laura, Rachel, Sarah, Emma, Hannah, Kate, Niamh, Eoin, Kieran, Ava, Sally, Conor, Billy, Aoife and Liam. Dear sister of Richard Broderick, Joan McCarthy and the late Nora Sexton, Michael Broderick, Alice Keating and Mary Betts.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law Neilus Murphy and Eddie O’Donnell, daughters-in-law Joan, Eleanor and Anne, brother-in-law John Sexton, sisters-in-law Margaret and Peg Broderick, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Lying in Repose at Aidan Walsh & Sons Funeral Home, Cappoquin on Saturday 29th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. followed by Removal to St. Carthage’s Church, Lismore.

Funeral Mass on Sunday 30 th at 11 a.m. followed by burial in St. Carthage’s Cemetery, Lismore.
