Breeda Quirke
(née Crowley)
QUIRKE (Carrigroe, Clonakilty): on November 7th 2024 peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Bantry General Hospital after a long illness bravely borne. BREEDA (nee Crowley) beloved wife of the late Laurence, dearly loved mother of Mary (Hurley), cherished Nana to Oliver and Amy, sister of the late Michael, Donal, Teddy, Nan, Eileen, Kay and Nora, aunt of the late Philip and Tim. Sadly missed by her loving daughter, son-in-law T.J., grandchildren, sisters Tessie, Peggy, Philly and Sr. Anne Marie, brother John Joe, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, home helps and great friends.
Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Saturday, November 9th 2024, from 5pm to 6pm followed by Rosary. Reposing in the Funeral Home on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 4pm to 5pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Monday, November 11th 2024, at 12 noon in St. Michael’s Church, Rathbarry. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery.
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Friends of Bantry Hospital.
