Brendan Coghlan
Brendan died in Wexford on September 14, 2023, in his 100th year. Pre-deceased by his 1st wife Freda. Heis sadly missed by his second wife Frances and all his extended family and friends in both Ireland and Halifax, Nova Scotia where he was in the Insurance Business. He was also one of the last survivors of the Russian Convoys to Murmansk during the 2nd World War, while serving as a Radio Officer in the British Merchant Navy. A pianist of note, he was the life and soul of many parties he conducted in his lifetime.
Brendan’s ashes will leave Kirwans Funeral Home at 11.45am on Saturday (November 11) to St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton to be buried with his family at 12.30pm.
