Brendan Curran

The death has taken place of Brendan Curran, Castlesaffron, Doneraile and Inchakevin, Castletownroche, who passed away peacefully on the 8th of December 2024 in the arms of his loving family at Cork University Hospital after a short illness borne with great dignity and courage.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his beloved wife Noreen and much loved father of Ailish (O'Regan), Deirdre (Coughlan), Niamh (Murphy) and son Brendan. Sons-in-law Daniel, Eamonn, Denis and Brendan's partner Deirdre. Devoted grandfather to Amy, Shane, Emily, Aidan, Saoirse, Kayleigh and Brendan Junior. Loving brother of Michael (Carrigaline), Helena Carey(Leamlara), Bernadette Neenan (Rosscommon) and John (Doneraile), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Brendan will be reposing at Stack's Funeral Home, Doneraile (P51 Y821) on Wednesday (December 11th) from 6pm to 8pm followed by Prayers. Reception into the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Doneraile on Thursday (December 12th) for Requiem Mass at 1pm. The Mass will be live streamed on https://www.doneraileparish.ie. Funeral afterwards to Oldcourt Cemetery, Doneraile. House strictly private to family only.
