Brendan Hanley

On May 8th, 2024, peacefully at home with his loving family, following a very brief illness bravely borne. Brendan, beloved son of the late Derry and Kathleen, loving brother of Jerry, Joe, Siobhán, Michael, Christy and the late John, dear brother-in-law of Bríd, Juliette, Deborah, Carol and the late Eileen and Chun Ti, adored and adoring uncle to his nieces Ciara and Alex and his nephews Jack, Anthony, Stephen, Kieran, Jonathan, Mikey, Conor, Ethan and Shane, much loved member of his CoAction family. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, relatives and many many friends.

May he rest with the angels.

Reposing at Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Friday, May 10th, from 5pm to 8pm, with vigil prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, May 11th, at 3pm at St Finbarr’s Church Bantry, (live streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/bantry) followed by burial at the Abbey Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to CoAction Bantry or the Irish Cancer Society.
