On Friday, 10 November, Bríd died peacefully, in the loving care of her family and the staff at Rushmore Nursing Home.
Beloved wife of the late Tom, much-loved mother of Máire, Seán, Dermot and Tríona, grandmother to the late David R.I.P., Kathy, John, Laura, Conor, Mark, Claire and Tom and great-grandmother to Daithí, Jack, Charlie and Lily.
Deeply mourned by her sons and daughters, her sister Kathleen (U.S.A.), daughters-in-law Mary and Joan, son-in-law Paul, grandchildren and great grandchildren nieces and nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at the ‘Cillín’ within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna on Monday, 13 November, from 6.00 p.m. with Removal to the Church at 7.00 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Bríd on Tuesday, 14 November, at 12 noon and following Mass she will be laid to rest in ‘Réalt na Mara’ cemetery, Furbo.
