Bridget (Bridie) Whelan
(née Quinn)

Bridie passed away, peacefully on the 15th December 2024, surrounded by her loving family and in the care of the wonderful staff of Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar. Predeceased by her mother Katie, father John and son-in-law Seanie Reilly.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Ronnie, son Sean, daughter Sinead, daughter-in-law Melissa, sisters Kathleen and Philomena, brother John, grandchildren Shelly, Niamh, Olivia, Shauna, Ronan, Darragh, Peter and Katie, great-grandchild Ronan, brother-in-law Dan, nephew Daniel, niece Maria, Noel Allen – who was a part of Bridie’s household for many a year, relatives, many good friends and neighbours

Reposing in her son Seans home, Curradooey, Longford, (N39 A039) for family, close friends and neighbours only please, this Tuesday (17th December) from 6pm until 8pm.

Reposing then, to the general public in the Chapel of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Templemichael Glebe, Longford (N39 XE92) this Wednesday (18th December) from 6.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm.

Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock on Thursday (19th December) in St. Mel’s Cathedral, Longford, followed by burial in Ballymacormack Cemetery.
