Bridie Collins
(née Hegarty)
Bridie Collins (nee Hegarty) on November 30th 2024 peacefully in Cork University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Wife of the late Stephen and devoted nanny of the late Céire, adored mother of Eileen, Mairéad, Ger and the late baby David, sister of Sr. Mary, Sr. Theresa (Betty), Peggy (Beausang), Eileen (Manning), Dick, Michael, the late John and the late baby Patrick.
Sadly missed also by her grandchildren Tadhg, Aodhán, Grace and Méabh, son-in-law Paddy and daughter-in-law Louise, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Bridie will repose alongside her adored granddaughter Céire on Monday evening from 5.30pm until 8pm at Egans Funeral Home, Greencloyne, Youghal. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12noon in St John the Baptist Church Killeagh with funeral afterwards to the old Cemetery Mogeely.
