Bridie McCarron
(née Aherne)
McCarron (née Aherne) (Slip Lawn, Bantry, and formerly of Ballygarvan, Co. Cork): On May 12th 2020, peacefully at her home, Bridie, beloved wife of the late Tom, adored granny of the late Evan, loving mother to Hugh, Tim, Anita, Barbara and Yvonne, kind-hearted granny to her 15 grandchildren, cherished sister of Lily and the late Noreen. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, her very kind neighbours and her many great friends.
Due to current guidelines regarding public gatherings, Bridie’s funeral will take place privately. Requiem Mass will be streamed live on www.bantryparish.ie on Friday, May 15th, at 12 noon from St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry followed by private burial in Rathcooney Cemetery. A memorial mass and celebration of Bridie’s life will take place at a later date. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired, to the Bantry Hospice Project, Newtown, Bantry.
