Canon Eugene Nee
Canon Eugene Nee (Coventry, England, formerly Duleek, Co. Meath & Curradavitt, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo) (Retired Chaplain Lt. Colonel US Air Force and San Antonio, Texas, USA) Following a brief illness in the 54th year of his vocation to the priesthood. Son of the late Peter and Annie (nee O’ Grady), predeaceased by his brothers Peter, John, Thomas, and Patrick, sisters Kathleen Nee, Patricia Prendergast, Mary Mc Goey, and Beatrice O’ Malley. Deeply mourned by his brother Vincent (Scarsdale, NY), nieces, nephews, extended family, brother priests, and a large circle of friends.
Requiescat In Pace
Funeral reception in the Church of Christ the King, Westhill Rd., Coventry on Monday (Jan. 14th) at 7.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday at 12 noon followed by cremation.
Mass of Christian burial in St. Cianan’s Church, Duleek, Co. Meath on Saturday (Jan. 19th) at 11am, followed by interment of Cremains in the family plot, in the local cemetery.
