Peacefully after a short illness surrounded by his loving family, Carey son of the late Denis and Jane Lawton. Beloved husband of Frances. Loving father of Megan and Bernard. Deeply regretted by his brothers Seánie, Pat, Liam, Brian, Kevin and his sister June (O'Brien), his aunt Tess, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, cousins, neighbours, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in T. Wallis and Sons Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton, Co. Cork P25YR22 from 7pm to 8pm on Tuesday, 27th August 2024.

Reception into St. Colman's Church, Cloyne, Co. Cork on Wednesday, 28th August 2024, for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
