Carmel Burke

Carmel passed away peacefully on Thursday 28 November 2024, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. David's nursing home, Gentian Hill, Galway.

Beloved daughter of the late Peter and Lilian Burke and much loved sister of Rosaleen (Begley), Mairéad, Lily (McDermott), Brigid (Heekin) U.S.A.

Michéal, Seán and Peadar.

Deeply mourned by her sisters and brothers, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) on Sunday 1 December 2024 from 3.30 p.m. with Removal at 5.00 p.m. to Christ the King Church, Salthill. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Carmel at 11.00 a.m. on Monday 2 December 2024. Following Mass she will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.

House private and family flowers only please.
