Carmel Lyons
(née Boyle)
Carmel Lyons (nee Boyle) Church Street, Banagher, Co. Offaly, (formerly of Killimor, Co. Galway). Passed away peacefully at Eliza Lodge, March 7th 2023. Pre-deceased by her husband Brendan, and her brother Frank, deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her daughter Anne and son Martin, her sister Mai Fogarty (Ennis), son in law Ronnie and daughter in law Siobhán, her grandchildren Maeve, Aoife and Sean, Niece, Nephew, sisters in law Annie Lyons and Bernadette Lyons, relatives, neighbours and large circle of friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace
Carmel will be reposing at her home on Wednesday evening from 5pm until 8pm. Removal to St. Rynagh’s Church, Banagher, on Thursday morning to arrive for Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Rynagh’s Cemetery.
Due to Covid-19 still being a threat we would ask you to observe the walk through rule attending both the reposing in her home and at the funeral Mass. Please wear a mask at all times.
