We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother who, surrounded by her loving family, left us on 9th October 2024 in the wonderful care of the staff of Tallaght University Hospital. Pre-deceased by her husband Charlie, her sisters Ann and Claire, her brothers Tony and Paddy, and most recently by her beloved daughter Rosalind.

A devoted mother to Hugh, Gabrielle and Colm, cherished Gran and dear friend to Cathal, Nella, Daisy, Senan, Alannah, Aédammair, Seraphim, Isaac, Elias and Erasmus, and much cherished great-granny to Tess, Carmel will be forever loved and sadly missed by her family, her daughters-in-law, son-in-law, her nieces, nephews, extended family relatives, friends and neighbours. Carmel filled our lives with love, kindness and joy. She will be remembered for her unwavering support, warm hugs, and the love she brought into our lives.
