Carmel Mooney, Woodville, Kilchreest, Co Galway, November 7th 2020. Peacefully, at home surrounded by her devoted & loving family.

Carmel will be sadly missed by her mother Mary, her sister Mary (Finn), her brothers Gerard, Joe & Vincent, her aunt Nellie, sisters-in-law Maureen & Patricia, brother-in-law Patrick, nieces, Edel, Ruth, Aileen & Erin, nephews, Kevin, Colin, David, Ruairi & Niall, Carmel’s wonderfull carers, cousins, relatives, neighbours & friends.

The Funeral cortège will be arriving at the Church of The Nativity Kilchreest on Monday 9th November for the Requiem Mass at 12 o’clock,  Carmel’s funeral Mass will be held in private for family due to current restrictions, with burial afterwards in Kilchreest Old Cemetery.

“Family flowers only donations to MS society of Ireland or The Irish Wheelchair Association”

Those who would like to have attended the funeral but cannot do so due to the current restrictions are invited to leave a message on the condolence page below.

The Mooney family deeply appreciate your kindness, loyalty, love and support at this time. A memorial mass for Carmel will be held at a later date. The family wish to thank most sincerely all our fantastic friends, neighbours and the medical teams for their care and support.

Finally to our Carmel you were an amazing daughter, sister, auntie, cousin and friend, with a heart of gold. It’s too soon to have to let you go, Sleep in peace until we meet again xxx.
