Catherine Byrne
(née Carroll)
BYRNE (Fairfield Road, Farranree, Cork): On February 5th, 2025, peacefully, at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, CATHERINE (Kitty née Carroll), dearly loved wife of the late David and much loved mother of Kevin, Damian and Fergus, dear grandmother of Cian, Aoife, David and Gianna, loving sister of the late Christopher, Jimmy, Rita and Sean.
Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters-in-law Norma, Barbara and Marion, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at the Coburg Street Funeral Home of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Thursday (February 6th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Friday (February 7th) in the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree which will be live streamed on
Funeral afterwards to Rathcooney Cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Marymount Hospice.
