Catherine (Kay) Power neé Coleman, late of Castletown, Gorey, Dowland Road, Walkinstown, and Crestwood, Galway. Died peacefully at her daughters Lucia’s home on Saturday, 19th November 2022. Predeceased by her beloved husband Edmond, 4 sisters, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Kay will be sadly missed by her loving children, Pat, Edmond, John, Maria and Lucia, daughters-in-law Maeve, Geraldine and Philomena, sons-in-law James and Edward, her 15 grandchildren, Aoife, Aislinn her partner Sandra, Enda, Sorcha her partner Tias, Cillian, Eamonn, Fergus, Darragh his partner Milena, David his partner Farai, Sarah her partner Connor, Maria her husband Robert, Clare her partner Charl, Edward, Carolyn her husband Peter, and Disen his partner Dawn, her 5 great grandchildren, Benjamin, Maximilian, Rocco, Olibhéar, and Finley, and a wide circle of friends and neighbours in Wexford, Dublin and Galway. 

 

 

Kay will be reposing at her home in Monagarrow Little, Castletown, on Monday (21st November) from 3pm. Removal will take place on Tuesday (22nd November) at 12.30pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Castletown, for funeral Mass at 1.00pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice and Cancer Care West.
