Catherine Scannell
(née Flannery)
Catherine Scannell (née Flannery), Achadh Mara, Belmullet and formerly of Porturlin, Ballina who died peacefully in London on 24th February 2019. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Catherine Flannery, Porturlin, sisters Betty, Cecilia, Jane, Julie, Kitty, Lilly and Mary Bridget and brothers Tom (Sonny), Paddy, Anthony and Peter. She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, her daughter Catherine, son John, son-in-law Alan, two grandsons Alan and Daniel, family friend Vince, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and many friends.

Remains reposing at McDonnell's Funeral Home, Belmullet on Tuesday evening from 4.30pm until 6pm with funeral arriving at the Star of the Sea Church, Cornboy at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in Greannaí Cemetery.
