The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital on Tuesday 2nd January 2024 of Cecelia Conway née O’Brien, Glencar Irish, Letterkenny and formerly from Listillion. Deeply missed by her loving daughters Shiela and husband Bob Winwright (England), Margo and husband Tommy Rosney (Trimragh, Letterkenny), sons Harry (Glencar) and Danny (USA), sisters Madge O’Donnell and husband Bernard (England) and Eileen McGonagle (Scotland), grandchildren Patricia, Louise, Don, Anita, Jessie, Thomas, William, Gillian and Kieva, great-grandchildren Kian, Ailbe, Odhrán, Croía and Maleea, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Cecelia’s remains will repose at Archview Lodge Nursing Home, Drumany, Letterkenny F92 KT99 on Wednesday 3rd January from 3pm until 5pm and on Thursday 4th January from 2pm until 5pm.

Funeral from there on Friday 5th January at 10.15am going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed on their YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@churchoftheirishmartyrs4657. Interment afterwards in Killydonnell Graveyard.
