Charles (Charlie) McAleavey

Late of Cornacrieve, Emyvale, Sunday 26th January peacefully at the Bon Secours Hospital, Glasnevin Dublin, surrounded by his family.

 

Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Josephine (Josie).

Beloved husband of Kay, Father to Fergal, Conor and Ronan. Grandfather to his cherished grandchildren Liam, Colm, Grace, Cathal, Jonah, and Jade. Brother to Marie Coffey (née McAleavey).

He will be sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Anne Marie and Celine, sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, a large circle of friends and neighbours.

Reposing at home, Inver, Co. Donegal (F94 T1W6) on Monday (27th January) from 4.00pm to 8.00pm.

Removal from his late residence at 4pm (via Fanaghan) to St Mary’s Church, Glennan, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan (H18 YT20) for 7.00pm on Tuesday (28th January).

Requiem Mass on Wednesday (29th January) at 2.00pm in St Mary’s Church, Glennan, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan (H18 YT20), followed by burial in Corracrin Graveyard, Emyvale (H18 TY04).

 

A one way system will be in operation during the wake, entry via Mc Granes corner and exit at Fanaghan or the Port Road. Please follow the signs.

Prof. Grogan’s and his oncology team, his doctors, nurses and the care staff in the Bon Secours Hospital.
