Christina (Chris) Whelan (nee Heavey), Moanbaun, Athenry, Co.Galway. Predeceased by her husband Eamon and daughter Myra. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Sadly missed and cherished by her daughters Anne and Julie, sons Tommy, Joe, Ollie and Paul, daughters in-law Deirdre, Geraldine and Michelle, son in-law Stewart, grandchildren Mia, Leah, Sarah, Laura, Callum and Michael, sister Nora Doyle (Kildare), brother in-law Des, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry on Sunday 24th September from 5pm. Removal at 7pm to the Church of The Assumption, Athenry. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 noon. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchmedia.tv/st-marys-parish-1 and can be listened to on the parish radio 106.5FM. Burial afterwards to the New Cemetery, Athenry. Donations, if desired, to Social Services, Athenry. Those who wish to leave a message of condolence can do so in the condolence section below.
