Christina Mullaney Mulligan

Christina Mullaney Mulligan, 85, of Middletown CT passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024, at Middlesex Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Sligo, Ireland, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Bridget (Harvey) Mullaney. Christina began her life in the US over 60 years ago as a newlywed. She raised her family and worked for many years in financial services. She was a devout catholic, her family was her everything and she loved them unconditionally. She is survived by her children; Cathy (John) Maher, Leigh Mulligan (Frank Torelli), Deirdra (Scott) Bishop, Richard (Dawn) Mulligan and Colleen (Rick) George, her grandchildren; John (Jennie) Maher, Rachel Maher, Wayne (Bridgit) Mumford, Sean (Meaghan) Mumford, Christopher Mumford, Molly Kate (Nick) Paige, Emily Bishop, Sonny Mulligan and Fiona George, her great-grand daughter Violet Paige. In addition to many nieces and nephews, she is survived by her brothers Peter (Mary) Mullaney and Padraig (Roberta) Mullaney and her sister, Helen McDonagh. She was predeceased by her sister Rosalene Cooney and her former husband Richard Mulligan.
