Christopher (Bisto) BURTON

Christopher (Bisto) Burton of Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Sallynoggin, Co. Dublin, passed away peacefully, on Monday 28th October, 2024, following a long illness at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Beloved husband and best friend of Dolores for over 55 years, devoted and adored Dad of Lorna and Jason, father-in-law of Peter, son of the late May and Tommy Burton and loving brother of Frank, Dick, Anne and the late Denis, Coach, Donal, Martin, Tom and Davy. He will be greatly missed by his family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Thursday (Oct.31) from 3.00pm to 5.30pm. Removal from his home on Saturday morning (Nov.2) at 10.00am, walking to St. Fergal’s Church, Ballywaltrim, arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.30am, followed by burial in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray.

In keeping with Bisto’s love of life, the family would ask that all those attending wear bright colourful clothing.
