Who passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Brendan’s Community Nursing Unit (Crannóg), Loughrea on Friday 7th June 2024.

 

Predeceased by his mother Mary, father Patrick, brothers Bill and Paddy-Joe, sisters Margaret and Nancy.

 

Christy will be mourned and sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, children Aidan, Sinéad, Orla, Patrick and Paula, grandchildren Clodagh, Kayleigh and Evan, sister Bernadette, son-in-law Enda, Orla’s partner Karl, Patrick’s partner Gillian, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

 

Christy will lie in Repose in Cappataggle Community Centre (H53 E685) on Sunday 9th June from 5pm – 7pm.

Christy’s funeral cortege will arrive to St. Michael’s Church, Cappataggle for Requiem Mass on Monday 10th June at 12pm, followed by burial immediately afterwards in Kilrickle Cemetery.

 

Christy’s family would like to express their sincere thanks to all their extended family, neighbours & friends for all their kindness and help, at this very sad time.
