Christy Callan

The death has occurred of Christy Callan, Corbollis, Tallanstown, Co. Louth and late of Drumcondra, Dublin, peacefully at the home of his daughter and son-in-law Emer and Eamon Fogarty, Mosstown, Dunleer, Co. Louth. Christy, beloved husband of the late Ena (née Tynan) and loving father of Michael, Mary, Helena, Cathal and Emer. Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by his sons, daughters, sons-in-law Gerard, Pat and Eamon, daughters-in-law Margaret and Deirdre, grandchildren Christopher, Dean, Sarah, Robert, Stephen, Shauna, Emma, Síofra and Issac, his 7 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the home of his daughter Emer, Mosstown, Dunleer (Eircode A92C9H0) on Thursday from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Friday morning at 10.30am to Saint Brigid’s Church, Dunleer arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am which can be viewed live at https://dunleerparish.ie/2015/06/st-brigids-church-tv/. Burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery.
