CHRISTY LEE

Lee Christy. Late of Boston, Tubber, Co. Clare and Rosemount Nursing Home, Gort, Co. Galway. Peacefully at University Hospital Galway on Sunday 17th of May 2020. Christy is Pre deceased by his parents Tommy and Eileen and by brothers Jamesie & Joe and by his sisters Anna and Sr. John.

Cherished and much loved he will be sadly missed by his wife Josie, his sons Christopher, Raymond  Eamon, Norman and their partners his daughters Deirdre (Ryan), Siobhan (O'Connor), Suzanne (Chambers) and their husbands.

Fondly remembered by his loving grandchildren and by brothers Mikie, Willie and Paschal, sisters Phill, Rita and Geraldine, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends.

Christy will be reposing at his daughter Deirdre and son-in-law Padraic Ryan’s residence in Duniry, Loughrea on Tuesday evening. Requiem mass for Christy will take place on Wednesday, 20th of May, at 3pm in All Saints Church, Boston, Tubber, Co. Clare. Christy will be laid to rest afterwards in Kiltackey Cemetery. For those who wish to be part of Christy’s final farewell his funeral mass will be streamed online live on the Gort Parish Facebook page. Due to government restrictions and Hse guidelines and in keeping with best practice to prevent the spread of Covid 19 Christy’s funeral will take place in private for family only.
