Claire Shiels

Claire passed away, peacefully, at University Hospital Galway.   She is predeceased by her mother Teresa. She will be very sadly missed by her father Michael, stepmother Mary, brother Donal, sisters Grainne, Mitzi, Roma and Sorley, her  aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, the extended family, neighbours and many friends.  A Requiem Mass to celebrate Claire's life will take place  at 11 o'c at  St. Columba's Church, Castlegar on Tuesday 25th August, 2020. Funeral after Mass to the new cemetery, Bohermore.

'May her gentle soul rest in peace'

A maximum of 50  people are welcome to attend the Mass and 15 people permitted at the cemetery as per the government guidelines.

Those who would have liked to attend the funeral but cannot do so are invited to leave a personal message in the condolence section below.  This will be gratefully appreciated by the family. If you are attending the funeral please follow Government guidelines on social distancing, hand shaking and wearing masks.    The Mass will be broadcast live on the Castlegar parish radio @ (103.3 f.m.).
