Arlene, Shane, Layla and Sadie,

Am so sorry to hear about the loss of your beautiful mum.

She was always so friendly when I used to meet her in Janeville and Agnes was always so proud of her granddaughters.

I remember meeting Agnes just before Sadie was born and she was so excited about the new arrival.

May your Mum rest in peace. ❤️

I am shocked and so deeply saddened to think we wont get to see Agnes again when we go to Nano Nagle.
She had the most BEAUTIFUL , generous, loving spirit and was just so GIVING in her nature. She spoke so lovingly about her Grandchildren and daughter and was so kind to my son (Josh). She was the reason we visited Nano Nagle so much on the weekend.
Saddened to think she wouldn't have received the small token&card we left for her at Christmas time to tell her that we as a family appreciated her so much.
Sending our heartfelt condolences to her wonderful family. I have no doubt that Agnes touched so many peoples lives in the most positive way throughout her lifetime. Her beauty will live on. Rest in peace.
— Yvonne, Josh& Trevor
Arlene, Marguerite and all of Agnes Marie's extended family. I am so sad that Agnes Marie has passed. She was a huge part of my childhood and teenage years as we first met In primary school. I treasure so many memories of our times but my favourite memory of Agnes Marie is a very simple one. She had a single of a song called Stay by Jackson Brown, this in a different time before music was so accessible, and she lent it to me so I could tape it!! Every time I hear that song I am reminded of Agnes Marie and her gentleness and kindness. Agnes Marie, I wish you could have stayed, just a little bit longer. May your so gentle soul rest peacefully.

Truly saddened by the news of Agnes's passing. Sincere condolences to her beloved Arlene and family and to all of the O'Sullivans on the loss of such a beautiful soul.
I have very fond memories of Agnes from when I was a child growing up in the Acre to more recently just bumping into one another.
l'll always remember, when I was about Ten years of age, Agnes told me; given the choice, she would have liked to have be named Dawn. When I asked as to why? she said; 'Dawn is the most wonderful time, its a new day and anything is possible'. Advice that has aged well over the years although I had no idea at the time.

RIP Agnes, X

Dear Arlene & the O’Sullivan family,

My deepest condolences on the loss of your dear Agnes. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

The funeral service was just beautiful - a real celebration of Agnes’ life.

While I only moved back to Cork four years ago - I was truly “lucky” to get to meet Agnes - through Michael. I did really laugh when Arlene mentioned Agnes’ “sales skills”. I brought 3 friends from Dublin to the Nano Nagle shop at the end of Nov ‘23 and I think we left with about 10 handbags … and numerous other items.

Agnes was special … and I was just lucky to have a little “piece of Agnes” in my life.

Kindest regards.
Alicia. 🙏🏻💕

Condolences to Arlene, Michael and Family,

I first met Agnes in Nano Nagle where she gave my daughter and I the most wonderful tour. My daughter Aoife was doing a School Cork Heritage project on Nano Nagle and Agnes was only too delighted to help her with the information she needed. At the start of the tour Agnes and I made a few connections! – that I worked with her wonderful brother Michael and that her daughter thought at my daughter’s school!

My daughters Cork Heritage Project went on to win and I am so grateful that we went back to visit Agnes in Nano Nagle Place a few months later to share the good news with her, I took a lovely photo of them - both looking very proud. She was truly a special lady and left such a positive impression on us. My sincere sympathies to all the family at her loss.

I am so sorry to hear of her passing - she touched so many lives. My sincere sympathy to her family and friends.
