I was so sorry to hear of Aidan's death. He we a super uncle. He was always ready to chat to me with a funny story and an interesting observation into the bargain. In later years it was so lovely to bump into him in Blackrock. He will be missed.

My only regret is that I cannot be in the church this morning in person, but I'm there in spirit.

Until 1970 Aidan was the knowledgable Wine & Spirits director at Findlaters O'Connell St training in my elder brother, Alex. I had planned to meet up with Aidan again and talk more about that era. My condolences.
